"Sadguru Gnana Siddar Alayam" consecrated at Pudupattinam in Tamil Nadu gives a clarion call to all of humanity to lead an ideal life.'Vazha Varungal'. This is the only Guru Parampara temple in the world. The presiding deity here is Sadguru Om Maha Siddar Swamigal. Set in serene environs, just off the East Coast Road midway between Chennai and Puduchery, this is an Atma Sadhana temple. This book was released on the occassion of the Maha Kumbhabhishegam of Sadguru Gnana Siddar Alayam in February 1998. It contains a breif history of the eighteen siddhars consecrated in this shrine along with revered saints from all over India-Agastya Muni,Sri Dakshinamurthy,Sri Dattatreya, Veda Vyasa,Adi Shankara, Jnaneshwar Maharaj, Shirdi Sai Baba etc. The temple administration is by the scintists employed at IGCAR, Kalpakkam. All sincere devotees can perform abhishegam to the deities.
